SULFURIC ACID SALES

Martin's sulfuric business is designed to offer both consumers and suppliers a reliable system for transporting and marketing this widely used product. Customers appreciate the large storage capacity (50,000 tons in Beaumont, Texas) that is independent from any producing or consuming facility. Martin's own transport system of trucks and marine equipment coupled with service from BNSF, KCS and UP offer maximum flexibility for meeting customer's needs.

In addition, transload sites are operated at Plainview, Texas; Campbellton, Texas and Etter, Texas for rail to truck activity. Because our system is so flexible, we are able to source from the most freight logical supply point that fulfills the customer's quality concerns. End use industries for sulfuric include fertilizer, water treatment, petrochemical and a myriad of industrial applications.

Sulfuric acid is also transported, stored and marketed by Martin for use in various industries in the southeastern U.S. New storage facilities on deep water at Beaumont allow the import of ship size cargoes for distribution by truck and rail, while inland producers are served by Martin's infrastructure of transportation and terminalling facilities.
